Sonic Vulcan -- At a Glance

Got the new Sonic Vulcan a on Monday!

Note: This picture was taken off the internet. I would upload pictures of mine when I have the resources.

It was priced in  Tampines TRU @ SGD$99.90. Optional is also eveready batteries, in packs of 2. A good note, the price is around SGD$108 which includes the Sonic Vulcan and the 6 'D' Batteries, though they were not a value pack which I really hoped.

Even though the I've heard people around complaining about frequent jams and short life span about the Vulcan, I myself had no problems with it stock. This could probably be the new design 'easy load' ammo belt which have the top half of the tip of the 'shell' removed.

It is interesting to note that all whistler darts does not affect the blaster too much and all of them fire about the same distances, be it the 'J', 'K' or 'W1' manufactured whistler darts. Probably a result of it's piston launching system, correct me if I'm wrong.

On a lighter note, I'm having a lot of fun with this blaster! I've fired dozens of belts and so far, no problems at all. Maybe I'm lucky, or maybe the sonic series cleared up much of it's problems.
